BLUE DOT POOLS WARRANTY

Blue Dot Pools is a professional pool service provider based in Centurion, serving Gauteng with comprehensive pool solutions including new fibreglass installations, complete renovations, solar heating systems, professional relinings, and concrete pool construction with marbelite finishes.

New Pool Installations – 12-Month Installation Guarantee

Blue Dot Pools guarantees the quality of our installation work and all components installed by our team for a period of 12 months from the date of completion.

This installation guarantee covers:

• Installation workmanship
• Copings and surrounds
• Paved areas
• Piping and plumbing installations
• Electrical connections (pool-related)

Should any defects occur in our installation work during this period, Blue Dot Pools will repair them free of charge for both labour and parts. This guarantee excludes all travel and accommodation costs beyond a 50km radius from Centurion.

Fibreglass Pool Relining – 12-Month Workmanship Guarantee

Our professional relining service is guaranteed against defects in workmanship for 12 months from completion. This covers:

• Relining application and adhesion
• Surface preparation work
• Edge finishing and detailing
• Associated plumbing modifications

Pool Renovations & Restorations – 12-Month Guarantee

All renovation and restoration work performed by Blue Dot Pools is guaranteed for 12 months, including:

• Structural repairs
• Marbelite application and finishing
• Tiling and coping replacement
• Plumbing upgrades and replacements
• Equipment installations

Solar Heating & Heat Pump Installations – 12-Month Installation Guarantee

Our heating system installations are guaranteed for quality workmanship for 12 months, covering:

• Panel mounting and fixing
• Pipe routing and connections
• Electrical installations
• Control system setup

Note: Solar panels and heat pump equipment are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties (typically 5-10 years for panels, 3-5 years for heat pumps). We will assist with warranty claims during this period.

Manufacturer Warranties

Fibreglass Pool Shells: Covered by manufacturer’s structural warranty (typically 15 years). Please refer to your manufacturer’s warranty documentation for full details.

Equipment & Materials: Filters, pumps, heating equipment, and other mechanical or electronic components are covered by their respective manufacturer’s warranties. Blue Dot Pools will assist with warranty claims and service coordination.

Important Exclusions (All Services)

Our guarantees specifically exclude:

• Gelcoat fading, discolouration, or surface wear on fibreglass pools
• Travel and accommodation costs beyond 50km from Centurion
• Damage caused by earthquakes, floods, earth movement, or other natural disasters
• Damage from explosions, vandalism, fire, or similar events not caused by Blue Dot Pools
• Defects or failures resulting from improper maintenance, chemical imbalance, or neglect
• Modifications or repairs performed by third parties
• Normal wear and tear on moving parts and consumable items

Guarantee Validity & Conditions

All Blue Dot Pools guarantees are:

• Non-transferable to subsequent property owners
• Valid only when an official guarantee certificate, completed and signed by an authorized representative of Blue Dot Pools, has been issued
• Issued only upon full and final payment within seven days of practical completion
• Subject to the customer maintaining the pool according to manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices
• Applicable only to work performed by Blue Dot Pools or our authorized subcontractors

Making a Warranty Claim

To lodge a warranty claim, please contact Blue Dot Pools with:

• Your guarantee certificate number
• Original installation/completion date
• Clear description and photos of the issue
• Proof of regular maintenance (where applicable)

We will respond within 48 hours and schedule an assessment visit to determine warranty coverage.

Customer Responsibilities

To maintain warranty coverage, customers must:

• Maintain proper water chemistry as per manufacturer guidelines
• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance
• Report any defects promptly upon discovery
• Allow Blue Dot Pools reasonable access to inspect and repair
• Not attempt repairs or modifications that may void the warranty
